Position - great for exploring Cork on foot. Style and decor - excellent - some superb works of art/ carpets, etc. Staff generally very friendly, helpful and in tune with the high standard of the hotel (notable exception being the individual in charge of the breakfast room - see below).

Fabulous food (full dinners or bar menu), wine list and cocktails. Worth staying at the hotel for the relaxing evenings at either the Grill or Club rooms. The prices were fantastic for the quality. Staff is terrific. Bonus: I had a very comfortable room that faced the River Lee. I would pull one of the comfortable chairs into the bay that faced the river to do my work. Very lovely.

The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. I loved the decor and ambience plus the staff were fantastic and very welcoming. The pool was large and clean. Location was just right within easy walking distance of the city centre.

We loved absolutely everything about staying at The River Lee Hotel! Our room was immaculately clean as was the entire property, the location is fantastic, the beds were comfortable and the whole place just felt great. But more than all that, the staff are wonderful here — we didn’t meet a single person who wasn’t kind and helpful. One manager in particular went above and beyond when both my partner and I fell ill the day we arrived at the hotel. He truly took care of us and made us feel safe while far from home and checked in with us throughout our stay. Absolutely above and beyond. We’ll never forget his kindness! We highly recommend the River Lee and we’re looking forward to coming back!

The main facilities of the hotel were very nice. The breakfast was amazing. The restaurant was very fancy and all the staff were very kind. This hotel in general felt like a real treat. The parking garage also worked very well and was a good deal in a city for 10 Euros a night.

Continental breakfast exceeded expectations with three different GF pastries! Fantastic. Dinner in the bar: food was superbly cooked, some delicious and unusual options eg scrumptious Pont Neuf potatoes, but service was a bit inattentive at times. Room was very comfortable and spacious, and great to get dry cleaning done same day. Loved the glamorous common areas of the hotel and the view of the ever changing River Lee outside the glass walls. Great car park access to hotel.

Staff were always helpful, perfect location next to the beautiful River Lee. Leisure centre was a perfect addition to the trip, as well as the River club with a great selection of drinks. The room was a brilliant size with a large TV and the bathroom was great with both shower and bath. The bed was so comfortable, I didnt leave my room for half a day! Locals commented on that it was the best hotel in the city and I have to agree completely!

Wonderful Staff. Made me feel welcome. I traveled alone, but the staff made me feel like part of the "family". I had great conversations with the staff, especially with Iuri who was very nice and very professional.

The 5th floor was awesome with the executive lounge was a great bonus. The down stairs bar was well staffed, with really nice bartenders. The gym and the pool was well equipped. All the staff made it a great experience.
